In their two pre-season victories, FC Barcelona have scored an unbelievable 15 goals and are yet to concede, yet in their remaining two pre-season matches, Barca have scored just two, and conceded just as many. So, when they're on their game, Barcelona have been unstoppable; but otherwise, they've been incredibly disappointing. The question is: which Barcelona will turn up tomorrow against Thailand?
If the relative strength of the opposition is anything to go by, one should expect another virtuoso performance from the boys in blaugrana; Thailand are struggling to even defeat their regional rivals, so how do they expect to compete with one of the greatest teams in World Football?
Chances are that they don't, and are merely along for the ride. Whether they lose, win or draw, the Thai players will be able to say that they have played against Barcelona, against Lionel Messi, maybe even against Neymar. And with any luck, they won't say that they injured Lionel Messi, or Neymar, or anyone else for that matter. If that means that they lose by a greater scoreline, well, I just hope that the opposition remember that this is just a friendly. Like Santos for instance; they knew that they stood little chance, but they didn't resort to underhand tactics (read: fouling).
