Barcelona squad named for Round 8 of La Liga

Luis Enrique has selected the 18-man squad that will play against Eibar on Saturday, featuring the return of Rafinha Alcântara.

After a productive international break for Barcelona players, it's time to return to club action, and Barça have a relatively easy task this Saturday, as the Blaugrana take on Eibar at the Camp Nou. Undefeated in the first seven games, Luis Enrique and his men will try to remain unbeatable, while maitaining the record-breaking feat of goalkeeper Claudio Bravo, who hasn't conceded a goal so far.

Enrique selected and announced the 18-man squad for the match, including the return of Brazilian stud Rafinha Alcântara, sidelined for the last month with a hamstring injury. Rafinha is likely to start the game, in place of Neymar, possibly tired because of the long trip to Asia with the Brazil NT, where Ney played the whole 180 minutes for the Seleção. Neymar is named for the squad, but we'll probably see him chilling on the bench.

Per Enrique's decision, Sergio Busquets, Douglas, Rakitic, Jordi Masip and Thomas Vermaelen will not be in uniform. Luis Suárez enters the last week of his four-month ban, and will be an absentee for the last time in La Liga matches.

These are the eighteen men selected by Lucho:

1. Ter Stegen, 13. Claudio Bravo, 3. Gerard Piqué, 6. Xavi Hernández, 7. Pedro Rodríguez, 8. Andrés Iniesta, 10. Lionel Messi, 11. Neymar Jr., 12. Rafinha, 14. Javier Mascherano, 15. Marc Bartra, 18. Jordi Alba, 20. Sergi Roberto, 21. Adriano, 22. Dani Alves, 24. Mathieu, 29. Sandro, 31. Munir

Expected Starting Lineup (4-3-3):

Bravo; Alves, Piqué, Mathieu, Adriano; Mascherano, Xavi, Roberto; Rafinha, Messi, Pedro
