FC Barcelona Star Lionel Messi's Book "Choose to Believe" to Be Released in the US

Any Barcelona fan knows Lionel Messi. But how much do you really know?

The first official book written about the Argentine star is set to makes its way to the US next month. "Choose to Believe", or as its known in Spanish, "Elegí creer", tells the story of a young kid who followed his dream and now rules the footballing world.

The stories are intimate and aim to inspire both young and old. There are also never-before-seen pictures of Messi through the years.

It's not just a book, as "Choose to Believe" gives the reader all manner of extras. Buyers can use their smartphone to get an augmented reality 3D experience through a special app, or watch the goals that made him famous by scanning QR codes.

Readers are also given the "Messi Golden Ticket," which will allow them a chance to meet Messi in person in a training session for FC Barcelona. A drawing resulting in one lucky winner is done each month.

The book can be bought as a hardcover print copy, an ebook version, and as a digital edition in the form of an app for a smartphone or tablet. Currently, only European readers can obtain the print version, but it will become available for American readers soon. It will also become available in more languages.
