La Liga Standings - Jornada 7

Barcelona retain their top spot, while Real Madrid can't stop rising. Sevilla and Valencia still show strength.

After seven rounds of La Liga competition, the standings start to take the usual form, with Barcelona and Real Madrid fighting for the top spot. The Blaugrana traveled to the Spanish capital and beat Rayo Vallecano, while Real simply destroyed Athletic Bilbao at home, with another Cristiano Ronaldo hat-trick.

Another team fighting for the lead is Valencia. They showed power and defeated Atletico de Madrid at home to stay in second place. These are the full standings after seven Jornadas:
