Andrés Iniesta: "Good football will bring us titles"

One of the stars of Barça's 5-0 win over Córdoba, Iniesta was happy with the team's performance, and he expects a good 2015

Andrés Iniesta was one of Saturday's top performers, as he played a complete match, on and off the ball, and helped Barça to achieve a very good 5-0 win over Córdoba to finish 2014 on a high note.

Speaking to BarçaTV after the match, Iniesta was satisfied with the team's showing in the win, and he is positive about what 2015 can bring to the team.

Here's a few highlights of his interview:

On the win against Córdoba: "Objective achieved. It was very positive to end the year with a win, especially at home. We need three points from very game."

On the team's improvement: "The team is on an upward spiral and getting better in every aspect of our game. In the second phase of the season we’ll be trying to get to our peak because we have had time to get into our rhythm ... We are now going to recharge our batteries and come back fresh and ready for our next challenges."

On his expectations for 2015: "I hope we can enjoy good football. That’s what will bring us titles. All going well, this team’s good work will end up bringing us trophies."

On his own performances this season: "I have felt important to the team and club for a long time. Right now, I’m just training hard and playing to help the team."
