Rivaldo used social networks to reveal that "with tears in my eyes I’d like to give thanks to God, my family and for all the support I have received in 24 years as a player. Today I’m announcing to my fans around the world that my history as a player has reached its end."

Coinciding with the referendum on the New Espai Barça, which is scheduled for 5 April, the Club has opened up its social channels so that fans can send in their favourite and personal photos taken at the Camp Nou. With the hashtag #ElMeuCampNou on social media, fans can share their most cherished memories of being at the legendary stadium with the world.

Draw for Cup Final tickets | FC Barcelona
In little more than two days FC Barcelona members have requested more than the 13,158 tickets that the club is able to offer for the Spanish Cup Final on April 16 in Valencia. So, on Sunday at 10.00 AM CET there will be a draw held before a notary. Applications for tickets opened last Thursday morning and close on Monday at 7.00 PM CET.

Deportivo de la Coruña – FC Barcelona B: Point won at legendary Riazor(0-0) | FC Barcelona
Barça B drew at the Riazor this Saturday with Deportivo de la Coruña. The team managed by Eusebio Sacristán fought toe to toe with their rivals and they spent most of the game in the final third of Deportivo’s half. The Blaugrana sit on 41 points and they’re comfortably in the upper half of the table.

Ronaldo strike enough for Real | Sky Sports Football
The Portugal international fired home a low strike after beating three Malaga defenders in the 23rd minute to claim a narrow victory for Real which put the pressure back on capital rivals Atletico Madrid who lie second in the overall standings. The result left Malaga in 13th place but only three points clear of the relegation zone.

Diego Costa netted the only goal of the game as Atletico kept the pace at the top to sit three points below Real, who earlier beat Malaga by the same scoreline. Despite a late onslaught, the visitors could not find an equaliser and the defeat leaves them ninth after just one win in their last four league games.

Nolito nets Celta winner |
Celta Vigo took a big step towards securing their Primera Division survival with a narrow but vital 1-0 victory at Levante. Nolito scored the only goal of the game after 19 minutes and Celta were fortunate not to lose their lead in the second half, with Levante's David Barral missing a penalty and then having a shot blocked on the goalline by Celta goalkeeper Yoel Rodriguez, which looked as if it may have crossed the line.

Larrivey lifts resurgent Rayo |
Rayo Vallecano climbed out of the Primera Division relegation zone by comfortably beating fellow strugglers Almeria 3-1 to record their third straight league win. Alberto Bueno gave the hosts the lead on 37 minutes and Joaquin Larrivey extended the advantage 20 minutes later. Fernando Soriano then gave Almeria a brief glimmer of hope with a powerful finish, but Larrivey struck again to secure another vital victory for Paco Jemez's side.
