La Liga: FC Barcelona vs Atlético Madrid: Predict the Score

New, comments

A chance to predict the score of Barcelona's last game of the 2013-14 season, a title decider against Atlético Madrid.

David Ramos

272 days ago, Barcelona played their first game of the La Liga season. A 7-0 thumping in which Levante manager Joaquín Caparrós described it as a trip to the dentist's chair. Atlético meanwhile secured a 3-1 away at Sevilla. No one could've have predicted that these two teams would be going to head-to-head on the last day of the season.

Barcelona have been rocked by controversies and hardships all season. A president resigning, a captain leaving and an ex-player/manager passing away but somehow they have fought their way back into the title. While Atlético in their own right have been fighting too. Fighting to keep up with Real Madrid and Barcelona, despite not enjoying the large budgets that they do.

On their day, Barcelona can beat anyone and Atlético know this. But Barcelona also know that anything less then their best and the Madrid team will fancy their chances. There are so many stories tied to this game. Atleti's glorious season, Barça overcoming adversity and honouring a member who sadly passed on with a league title. But football shall decide as it always does.

3,300 minutes of football has come down to the final 90.
