FC Barcelona and the board have moved quickly to pacify angry fans by announcing Luis Enrique as the club's coach for the next 2 seasons and Marc Andre Ter Stegen (to be referred to as MATS or TER STEGEN!!! henceforth) signs and will be Barca's #1 to replace the outgoing Victor Valdes.
Furthermore, the club has also confirmed that Rafinha Alcantara and Gerard Deulofeu will return from their loan spells at Celta Vigo and Everton, respectively, to join the 1st team next season.
It wasn't all happy news, however, as dressing room favourite, Pinto will be leaving the club when he was informed earlier today that he will not be offered a new deal.
In the B- Team, Eusebio has officially confirmed that he will renew for another year, which is not what most cules wanted but we really can't complain right now as Enrique's signing is practically a guarantee that youth team players will get minutes next season.
Further restructuring sees coach Rubi leave the club while Tito's assistant, Jordi Roura will take over as youth director which in this author's opinion is probably a good move. Roura has had a reputation for being a good scout and putting him in charge of the club's youth should be a good fit for both parties.
Truly a great day to be a Cule!
Oh and TER STEGEN!!!(I promise I'll try to stop)
