FC Barcelona is pleased to announce that agreement has been reached with Javier Mascherano to improve and extend his contract for another four seasons, until 30 June 2018, plus an option on a further season. The buy-out clause is 100 million euros.

FIFA sponsor wants Qatar investigation | Football Espana
Sony, a major sponsor of FIFA, have called for allegations of corruption regarding Qatar’s successful World Cup 2022 bid to be investigated. The Guardian reports that the electronics company have made the statement in light of further claims from the Sunday Times, made in today’s paper, a week after the first wave of allegations.
