Romelu Lukaku has not played much for Chelsea, but he's shone playing on loan for other teams. After a really encouraging season at Everton partnering Gerard Deulofeu, who has returned to Barcelona from his loan, he seems keen to continue getting regular minutes.
But the situation at Chelsea may not be so clear with Diego Costa supposedly coming in. There are already reports out that Lukaku may leave on loan to Atletico Madrid as part of the deal.
With that said, should Barcelona try to make a move? After all, Chelsea are also interested in Cesc Fabregas. If Lukaku is being used as a bargaining chip in one transfer, why not another?
Lukaku would bring a physical presence to the frontline. It would be a big adjustment to be sure, but the payoff could be worthwhile.
He's been linked with Barcelona at some points, although the links have not been nearly as strong as they have been for other players.
So, should Barcelona consider pursuing him? Let us know.
