Josep Maria Bartomeu and Andoni Zubizarreta in Brazil for World Cup Final

Zubi and Bartomeu landed in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday. They'll watch the World Cup Final on Sunday

Zubi and Bartomeu are here, in Brazil. This is so exciting for me. My beloved directors are here!!!

It's true, look at the picture they took with Fuleco, the World Cup mascot! Bartomeu, Barça's president, and Zubizarreta, the club's sporting director, have landed in Rio de Janeiro to watch the World Cup Final between Argentina and Germany. Of course, they're here to root for their boys, Lionel Messi and Javier Mascherano. The Albiceleste will try to win its third tournament ever, and if they do, that will be the second one over the Germans.

This is also a crucial match for Messi. We see every weekend how great and amazing he is, and he has won everything, except for the FIFA golden trophy. If he can do that, he'll solidify himself as the single greatest footballer ever. How fitting would it be for Leo to become the best ever at Maracanã, the stadium that in many ways made Pelé the greatest?

We also hope that Zubi and Bartomeu could be on Brazil to discuss some business. As we reported a couple of days ago, Germany center-back Mats Hummels is a possible target for Barça's backline, and maybe our board leaders could use a bit of their time to get it going.

Their main goal remains to see Messi and Masche as champions, though. So do we. ¡¡¡Vamos Argentina!!!
