The dates and times of the first couple of league games have been published for both the first team and Barça B. Luis Enrique's side kick off at nine in the evening against Elche at the Camp Nou on Sunday August 24, with a trip to El Madrigal to face Villarreal the following Sunday at seven.

In a statement on their official website, Valencia said that -- pending a medical -- they would sign Yoel, 25, on a season-long loan, with an agreement in place to take him on a permanent basis next summer on a three-year contract.
