Report: Alex Song to West Ham United is a Done Deal

Goodbye, Systeme Tchakap.

David Ramos

It's done: the Systeme Tchakap Era is over at FC Barcelona, as the Blaugrana have reached an agreement with West Ham United for the transfer of Alex Song back to the Premier League.

Reports from all the reliable sources in the universe say it's a done deal. Sky Sports reported first, and we're able to confirm it, too. Song is indeed going to the London side.

In fact, West Ham's chairman, David Gold, hinted at it on Twitter on Saturday:

Yes, Gold thinks Song is "a big signing", but hey, we believe you, mister!

It's still unclear what the deal is, but sources say Barça would pay a portion of Song's wages. Let's wait for official confirmation by both clubs, but it's a fact that Song is finally leaving Barça.

Goodbye, Lord. You will not be missed.
