Could it be? Is everything finally falling into place under Luis Enrique? For the fourth successive match, FC Barcelona put on a dominant performance to overwhelm their opposition, this time it was Deportivo La Coruna who were made to suffer at the hands of the in-form Blaugrana. From start to finish, the visitors were far too strong for their hosts and eventually claimed a comprehensive victory courtesy of a hat-trick from Lionel Messi and an unfortunate own-goal from Deportivo centre-half, Sidnei.
The transformation that we have witnessed since that dreadful performance against Real Sociedad has been magnificent; we are hungrier, more enthusiastic. Tactically, we are light years ahead of where we were, probably as a result of Luis Enrique finally settling on his best line-up; for the second La Liga match in succession he named the same starting line-up and was rewarded with a second convincing win. Not only that, but the very same positives we saw against Atleti were present once again as well.
