Seven straight wins, including three strong victories over Atlético Madrid. A place in the Copa del Rey semifinals, and a team that's rolling and looking better and better with each game. Not bad for a club that was living a crisis just a month ago.
Barcelona will look to keep the momentum going this Sunday, when they welcome Villarreal to Camp Nou for their next La Liga match. The Blaugrana are only one point behind Real Madrid in the standings, albeit having played one more game, and they could continue to put pressure on the Blancos by beating a very strong opponent in the Yellow Submarine, winners of four straight.
Coach Luis Enrique will finally have a full week of practice following Sunday's match, which probably means he'll use the strongest possible lineup against Villarreal. Thomas Vermaelen and Douglas Pereira are out with injuries. Jérémy Mathieu is possibly returning to the starting lineup, now that he's completely ready to go.
So how about playing Lucho and deciding whether or not Mathieu will play on Sunday?
