The 2015 calendar year could not begin with a tougher opponent for Barcelona, as they will play Real Sociedad away from home in a historically difficult environment for the Blaugrana, who haven't won at the Anoeta in quite some time. This Sunday's encounter is special for Barça goalkeeper Claudio Bravo, who returns to La Real's field for the first time after becoming a Sociedad icon following an eight-year reign as the team's GK.

As far as the squads go, everything is fine for coach Luis Enrique. The only injury absence is Thomas Vermaelen, who's out for the season after going under the knife to fix a groin problem. Dani Alves and Neymar are ready to go after missing the last matches of 2014 due to contusions. They are expected to crack the starting lineup, as well as Luis Suárez and Lionel Messi, the two stars of Barça's latest win in La Liga, against Córdoba two weeks ago.

If they're able to escape the Anoeta without a loss, Barcelona will reach twelve consecutive unbeaten matches, their best streak this season. But that will not be easy.

Match Date/Time: Sunday, January 4th, 9 p.m. local, 3 p.m. ET

Venue: Anoeta Stadium, San Sebastian, Spain
