Barcelona's main target for the January transfer window is really keen on coming to the Blaugrana, despite the approach from another European giant. That's according to a report from Mundo Deportivo, that claims that Celta Vigo winger Nolito, who has been linked with a move to Catalonia in the next signing period for quite a few months now, has decided to give Barça the priority.
That's amid a huge reported offer from Premier League giants Arsenal, who appear to be keen on signing the Spanish winger as an option for either the wing or the striker position. The Gunners allegedly have made a better offer to Celta for Nolito's signing, but the Celestes know that their biggest star will only move if that transfer is to the Catalan giants.
However, that same report suggests that Nolito has given Barça one month to decide whether or not they really want him. All we've seen so far are strong speculations from the press and sources here and there, but nobody from the club actually contacted Nolito or his agent to at least formalize their interest and start negotiations.
With Arsenal coming into the battle, though, it is expected that Barça officials finally make a move for their most desired target.
