The international break is now officially over, and it's time to return to club football. Two weeks ago, Barcelona lost to Sevilla to complete a brutal beginning to the season. Injuries, bad defense, poor performances, injuries again... it has been an insane couple of months, but maybe we can see a turnaround starting this weekend.
Saturday presents a good challenge for a team that wants to show it can win the big matches: the Blaugrana open up the Camp Nou doors to face Rayo Vallecano, one of the most interesting teams in the league, in what promises to be an offenseive, exciting affair. The problem for Barça is that the team lacks plenty of options on offense: Without Rafinha Alcântara, Andrés Iniesta, Lionel Messi and perhaps Luis Suárez due to injuries, the Catalans will have to rely on Neymar to create some magic and pull off a victory.
Good news on the defensive side comes with the potential return of Thomas Vermaelen, perhaps the best defender this season, who has been sidelined for the last several weeks with a calf problem. The Belgian has been very solid at the back, and his comeback might just be what the Treble winners need to get a clean sheet. We just need to know whether he'll play or not.
So we turn to you, Blaugranes, to find out what starting lineup you'd rather see on Saturday. Please fill out the attached form below and select the eleven players you want to watch from the beginning. You can use the comment section to share your selections.
