Tebas plays down corruption claim | Football Espana
LFP President Javier Tebas has played down reports that a linesman was pressured into favouring Real Madrid over Barcelona in next month’s Clasico. The Spanish Press on Thursday reported the claim that a member of the Referees Technical Committee had tried to influence the decision-making in November’s Clasico against Barcelona - to which the League chief says there is "little" credence.

Karim Benzema resumes squad training -
Real Madrid has received some encouraging news ahead of this weekend's La Liga encounter with Celta Vigo as Karim Benzema has resumed squad training. The France striker suffered a thigh injury while away on international duty earlier this month and has since been out of action.

Ronaldo ahead of Messi as football's most valuable brand - ESPN FC
Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the world's top 10 athlete brands, the latest Forbes ranking show -- but there is no place on the list for Lionel Messi. Ronaldo is number eight in the ranking -- down a place from last year -- which calculates athlete brand value as sponsorship income minus the average of endorsement income of the top 10 athletes in the same sport.

Two first-half goals from Cédric Bakambu helped the Spanish side back to winning ways as Dinamo's search for their first goal in Group E goes on.

Athletic conquer Partizan's Belgrade fortress -
Partizan went into the match as Group L leaders with a 100% record, but it was Athletic who seized the early initiative, pressing their hosts high up the pitch, with Etxebarria pulling the strings in midfield. Xabier Etxeita had a powerful shot beaten away by Živko Živković in the 18th minute, while Aritz Aduriz spurned a good opportunity on the half-hour, heading over after good work from Óscar de Marcos down the visitors' right.
