SD Eibar coach, and familiar face to La Liga veterans, Jose Luis Mendilibar spoke to the press last night ahead of his side's upcoming trip to Catalunya, where they will face the reigning champions, FC Barcelona. Despite leading his team to an impressive start thus far this season, Mendilibar was cautious about making any predictions for tomorrow's match, instead focusing on the many strength's of the opposing Blaugrana.
"In the Camp Nou, although they do not always play well, they always create chances. Perhaps it is the most difficult stadium; I do not think this is a game we will enjoy. We will have to sweat and run like fools defensively.
"They have won their last two matches and have had a few days break since winning in the Champions League. It will be very difficult for us; with how they retain the ball, it will be a very long game. We have to make sure we can capitalise on any mistake they make to try and create chances of our own.
"They are better, of course, but we must play tonight's game like any other. The points are equal on either side at the start, the key is that they do not strike early, and that we give our best."
