Barcelona the club might be out of good news lately, but Barcelona the city gave us good news on Saturday.
In the same day as the Blaugrana lost to Sevilla, Sporting Gijón traveled to the Catalan capital to face Barça rivals Espanyol, and loanee Alen Halilovic started once again, this as an attacking midfielder, and once again he proved why he so highly rated by everyone who watches him. The young Croatian had a masterful 82-minute performance, leaving the field at the end of the game as one of the best performances in the 2-1 victory his team pulled off.
On top of another great game, Halilovic scored the first La Liga goal of his career, with a beautiful left-footed shot that reminds of... wait for it... Lionel Messi. Is he a clone or something? This kid is simply absurd. PLEASE COME BACK, ALEN!!!
