Barcelona locker room leaders urge club to register Arda Turan

Barcelona still have not given up on registering new signing Arda Turan in light of all the injuries that have plagued the squad. Now, they're under real pressure.

According to Sport, even the locker room leaders -- captains and non-captains -- have been talking to the officials expressing their concern with the thin squad the club has got now because of transfers and especially the injuries. Because of that, Barça B players have been brought to the first team, but they haven't contributed much and the squad is suffering.

But FIFA has been firm in its position of not allowing the Blaugrana club to register the Turkish international and the other new signing, former Sevilla wing-back Aleix Vidal. Players like Andrés Iniesta, Sergio Busquets, Javier Mascherano and others want the club to step up and find a way to get Arda available during this international break.

We have a two-week break to get this done, and hopefully Arda will make his debut earlier than January. His teammates certainly want it to happen.
