I think most of us can agree that this season's kits look nice, but they could have been better. The change to horizontal stripes was a big shock, and it took a while to get used to seeing a completely different image -- the players look fat for some reason, but I might be crazy -- in terms of the jerseys the players are wearing.
The home kit is pretty nice, but the away one is terrible -- and it's unlucky --, and we need to see the blue one more to have a complete opinion on it. But Nike probably wants us to with for a classic kit once again, and they look set to do it.
Footy Headlines says Nike has come up with a concept design for the 2016/17 home shirt, and it looks absolutely incredible:
This could be Barça's kit for next season. I already want it. pic.twitter.com/PoaFH9ZVyU— Renato Gonçalves (@_Renato_21) October 5, 2015
I CAN'T EVEN... I SWEAR... I WANT THESE!!!!! It's a throwback to the 1991-92 kit that won the first Champions League in club history, which is an awesome background story as well.
Oh, and there is a leak on the possible color of next season's away kit, too:
The concept for the away kit looks pretty sweet, too. pic.twitter.com/VsIhAtU5Fl— Renato Gonçalves (@_Renato_21) October 5, 2015
The green-colored away kit -- or teal-colored, if you want to be more specific -- was a must in the 1990s during the Kappa years, but Nike never really thought about bringing it back. Now it seems like they are, which is amazing.
Please keep in mind that these are just allegedly leaked concept designs, but Footy Headlines is usually accurate and trust-worthy, so these AWESOME shirts will definitely be bought by yours truly. We just have to wait a year to get them.
