Oh my goodness, what a win. I mean... WHAT A WIN. In my wildest dreams, I could have never expected a performance so thoroughly excellent, a victory so thoroughly dominant, particularly at the Santiago Bernabeu. Traditionally, it has been the toughest venue for us; just look at last year, where we were beaten so convincingly by Carlo Ancelotti and his side. Well, this was revenge, but more than that -- it was history.
This was a display so impressive that it will resonate throughout history as one of the greatest all-time Clasico victories, alongside the Manita, and alongside the famous 2-6 of 2009. From the opening minute, right the way through to the last; Barcelona were in control and never let up. Not once did they take their foot off the gas and in truth, a four goal margin of victory doesn't even accurately reflect the flow of the game.
