The next Barcelona match is upon us! It's matchday five of the UEFA Champions League group stage, and the Blaugrana face an important challenge at home against AS Roma. Leading Group E with 10 points, the defending champions need a draw to advance to the knockout stage, and a victory to clinch the group.

Following the fantastic victory in El Clásico, coach Luis Enrique and the team want to continue building momentum and has called up his best available players to form the squad for Tuesday's matchup. Unfortunately, Javier Mascherano, who suffered a groin knock at Bernabéu, did not recover in time and is out against the Italians. Because of that, Enrique listed Barça B's Sergi Samper to maintain the midfield depth. Sandro Ramírez and Jordi Masip will not be in uniform, along with the injured Rafinha and Douglas and the unavailable Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal.

These are the eighteen men named by Lucho for the game:

Goalkeepers: 1. Marc-André ter Stegen, 13. Claudio Bravo

Defenders: 3. Gerard Piqué, 6. Dani Alves, 15. Marc Bartra, 18. Jordi Alba, 21. Adriano Correia, 23. Thomas Vermaelen, 24. Jérémy Mathieu

Midfielders: 4. Ivan Rakitic, 5. Sergio Busquets, 8. Andrés Iniesta, 20. Sergi Roberto, 26. Sergi Samper

Forwards: 9. Luis Suárez, 10. Lionel Messi, 11. Neymar Jr., 17. Munir El-Haddadi

Projected Starting Lineup (4-3-3):

Stegen | Alves, Piqué, Mathieu, Alba | Busquets, Rakitic, Iniesta | Messi, Suárez, Neymar

Bench: Bravo, Bartra, Vermaelen, Adriano, Roberto, Samper, Munir

The match starts at 20:45 CET, and you can join us then to follow and comment all the action.
