One of the most promising players in football, 22-year-old Lucas Moura is set to return to Paris Saint-Germain competition after two months recovering from a leg injury. The Brazilian is still working on a minutes restriction, and he's not likely to play a lot on Wednesday's Champions League quarter-final first leg match between PSG and Barcelona.
Lucas has played well this season until his injury, and he had a good performance the last time he played against the Blaugrana, when the French kings beat Barça 3-2 in the group stage earlier this season. Six months later, he's going to face his friend Neymar Jr. again. Lucas mentioned his friendship with the Barça star in an interview this week. Moura also talked about Lionel Messi, an idol of his. Check out his answers:
"I haven't sent any text messages to Neymar yet, but that will happen eventually. It's normal when you face each other. But we're always communicating, for sure. Anyway, it'll be phenomenal to play against him again.
"Messi is an idol of mine. I've always wanted to play like him. I believe he is the best player in the world and he's in a level above everyone else again. It'll be very complicated to play against him.
"I think the tie will be very equally balanced. These are two great teams who play a beautiful style of football. I'm sure we'll see two beautiful games, and it is sad that I won't be able to play a lot of minutes because I haven't played in almost two months. I'm a little better physically, but I'm obviously not at my best. I'll work hard to play one half against Barcelona."
