Barcelona's marathon continues as the Blaugrana will play their fifth game in 14 days, this time facing the dangerous Valencia in a pivotal La Liga match. After a draw with Sevilla last week, Barça saw its lead over Real Madrid get down to only two points, which means that the Catalans cannot afford to throw points away in their last seven games.
But getting the full three points against Valencia will not be easy. Riding an impressive ten-game unbeaten streak in the Spanish League, Los Che are fourth in the standings and have always been a tough outing for any title contender. Led by youngsters like Daniel Parejo, Pablo Piatti and Paco Alcácer, they form a dynamic, in-your-face side who isn't afraid to attack at any moment.
The first encounter between these two teams is a good example. The Bats out-struck the Blaugrana on that occasion, and gave Barça the hardest time until Sergio Busquets bailed the Catalans out with a stoppage-time goal. Expect as tough of a game as the last time. Both teams are in great form, and Barça is going to be at least a little tired from this marathon. Should be fun, and you should watch!
