Report: Barcelona has two offers rejected by Juventus for Paul Pogba

Sources told Barça Blaugranes that Juventus has now refused two major offers from Barcelona for star midfielder Paul Pogba, who has been linked with moves to all of the biggest European teams. The first Blaugrana pitch was for €70 million, which was immediately refused by the Italian club.

Last Friday, Ariedo Braida, Barça's sporting director, called again with a new deal: a €78 million offer, plus the inclusion of a Blaugrana player in the €12-to-€20 million market range, most likely Martín Montoya or Pedro Rodríguez. The name of Gerard Deulofeu was also briefly discussed on Friday.

Sources say Juventus took a while to decide upon the latest proposal, but they eventually called back hours before the game against Valencia with another rejection. They didn't like the players offered, although the amount proposed was very pleasant to Juve's officials.

Braida and the sporting commission will not give up, and they now plan a third and final offer: €82 million, plus Pedro and Montoya. All told, the operation could cost the Blaugrana about €120 million if you consider the expected market value of those two players. It's an all-in offer, and one that Braida is confident will lure the Italian into agreeing a deal for the French phenom.

Pogba is Barça's favorite target. If his deal doesn't work, then the main options are PSG's Marco Verratti and Borussia Dortmund's Ilkay Gündogan.
