On Wednesday afternoon, right before Barcelona's match against Almería, Dani Alves's agent, Dinorah Santana, and the Blaugrana's new sporting commission, led by Ariedo Braida, held a two-hour meeting at Barça's headquarters.

They met to decide on the future of the full-back, who has been linked with moves to the Premier League and Paris-Saint Germain since last season. According to Diario Sport, the commission offered a one-year contract extension, with a team option for a second year based on performance goals.

Following the meeting, Dinorah told Sport about how the meeting went, without giving a lot of details:

"I had the first meeting with Javier Bordas on Tuesday. [On Wednesday] we had the second one. I already have an extension offer, although I can't comment on whether or not I like the proposal.

"There's no deal done yet because there's more meetings to come. They told me they're going to call me for a new one later this month, so we'll see."

Sources say that Alves wants a three-year deal, but Barça is not going higher than two, and that's where the disagreement lies. We'll have to wait a little more to know if Dani's future includes Barça or not.
