Luis Enrique on Bayern Munich match: "The goal is to get to the final"

Finishing the round of press conferences before the Champions League second leg match between Bayern Munich and Barcelona, Blaugrana manager Luis Enrique was the last one to speak to the media. And his message was clear: no matter what happens, his only goal is to get to the Berlin Final.

But if they could do it in style, it's good too. Lucho said he wants his team to play the same way they did last week -- keeping possession of the ball, going forward and trying to create as much scoring chances as possible. But in the end, going to the final is all that matters.

Finally, Enrique was very complimentary of Ivan Rakitić, perhaps the most important signing of this offseason alongside Luis Suárez. Here's a few highlights of Lucho's conference:

"Yes, we are the best counterattacking side - if 'Pep' said that, we accept his praise. Just like Bayern, we want maintain possession and we want to create openings. We don't want the game to be a crazy one. We have to use our weapons to hurt our rivals.

"We want the game to be as similar as possible to the first leg. Everyone attacks and everyone defends. Bayern has a lot of potential to score goals. We will have to go out focused on the idea of winning.

"We know how big Bayern Munich is and we will have to be at our best [to progress].

"Rakitić has become a key player for us. He is an intelligent player, and is physically strong. We are very happy with him as we are with all the players we signed this season.

"If we take the lead it would be good for us. But Bayern has the quality to score and they did cause us problems in Barcelona. The common objective is to go to the final."
