Martin Odegaard became the youngest player to play in La Liga for Real Madrid when he was introduced as a substitute for Cristiano Ronaldo in Saturday's 7-3 win over Getafe. Odegaard, who made his debut for Norway last year at the age of 15 prior to joining Real in January, does not turn 17 until December.

Sami Khedira has bid farewell to Real Madrid via social media, admitting he will miss "my club" when he eventually leaves. The midfielder informed German publication Kicker in March that he would depart the Santiago Bernabeu once his contract expired in the summer, and he has now corroborated his remarks with an emotional Facebook post after Los Blancos’ last La Liga game of the season against Getafe.

Eibar saw their first ever season in the Primera Division come to an agonising end as they were relegated despite easing to a 3-0 win over Cordoba. Mikel Arruabarrena, Raul Navas and Ander Capa all scored in a rampant first half for Gaizka Garitano's side, but their Primera Division dream was ended as Diogo Salomao's late equaliser at the Nou Camp forced a 2-2 draw between Deportivo La Coruna and Barcelona.
