Benzema not travelling to Turin | Football Espana
Karim Benzema won’t travel to Turin as part of the Real Madrid squad to play Juventus despite making good progress in his injury recovery. AS say Carlo Ancelotti decided to leave the France international at home following a Sunday training session of which Benzema was part, but as the striker is still showing signs of discomfort, the Coach isn’t taking any chances.

Javier Hernandez: I'm not happy sitting on the Real Madrid bench -
Javier Hernandez says he is currently happy at Real Madrid but warned he is not a player who is "content sitting on the bench." The Mexico international joined the Blancos on loan from Manchester United last summer, with the option of a permanent switch to the Santiago Bernabeu at the end of the 2014-15 campaign.

Atkinson to referee Juventus-Real Madrid -
Uefa has revealed Martin Atkinson will take charge of Tuesday's Champions League clash between Juventus and Real Madrid. The English referee will be a familiar face to the two sets of players, as the 41-year-old has overseen continental clashes involving both semi-finalists this season.

Valencia eased their way to a 3-1 win at home to Eibar to tighten their grip on the fourth Champions League spot. Nicolas Otamendi headed Nuno Espirito Santo's side in front on 25 minutes and Dani Parejo and Paco Alcacer extended the hosts' advantage with goals in the second half, with Mikel Arruabarrena getting a late consolation goal for the Basques.

Espanyol and Rayo Vallecano's hopes of qualifying for the Europa League were dented as they shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw at the Power8 stadium. Former Liverpool left-back Emiliano Insua put the visitors ahead just before the half-hour mark from a a well worked move but Hector Moreno grabbed a deserved equaliser with 10 minutes remaining, but Jose Canas was sent off in stoppage time for dissent.

Jonathas de Jesus scored his 12th goal of the season to give the visitors a first-half lead but Malaga, who had three goals disallowed over the 90 minutes, should have levelled in the second half when they were awarded a penalty and Elche goalkeeper Przemyslaw Tyton was sent off for bringing down Javi Guerra.

Youssef El Arabi scored twice as Granada won 2-1 at Getafe to boost their chances of beating the drop and give Jose Ramon Sandoval a winning start as boss. Granada responded to Thursday's home defeat to Espanyol by replacing manager Abel Resino with Sandoval and the former Rayo Vallecano coach could not have asked for a better start.
