Real Madrid center-back Sergio Ramos offered to Barcelona presidency candidate

There is some crazy stuff going on as we approach Barcelona's elections and the summer transfer window.

One of the Blaugrana's candidates to replace Josep Bartomeu, Jordi Majó, said on Friday that he has been contacted by Real Madrid center-back Sergio Ramos through his staff to include the world-class defender in his candidacy project.

"Yes, they offered me Ramos, but I'm not going to enter that game with him or his brothers to increase his value as a player. I have not talked with his brother but with an intermediary", said Majó.

Ramos has been fighting with the Spanish capital giants for a new contract, and both parties have not been able to work a deal so far. Ramos wants a lot of money, and Florentino Pérez, the president, doesn't want to pay, even though he has a lot more money himself. You know, Real Madrid stuff.

However, as Majó said, Ramos' agents just want to increase his value and force Madrid into an impossible situation, which would obligate them to accept Sergio's renewal terms. IF they can't work out a deal, though, things could get very interesting. Could you imagine a Ramos-Piqué pairing?

Crazy, right? That's what happens on election time plus transfer window. I love this time of the year.
