Martin Montoya in talks with Inter Milan - agent - ESPN FC
The agent of Barcelona full-back Martin Montoya says he is currently in talks with Inter Milan over a transfer of his client to the Serie A club. A two-year loan deal -- after which they will have an option to buy him for €8 million according to Sport -- is reportedly being discussed and Juan De Dios Carrasco has told that he is optimistic about an agreement being reached.

Barcelona defender Martin Montoya is set to join Inter on a two-year loan deal, Goal understands. The two clubs have agreed a €1.5 million loan fee and Inter also have a non-compulsory option to purchase the player for an additional €6m at the end of his temporary stay in Italy, which would mean a total transfer cost of €7.5m if the Serie A side are happy to go ahead with the deal.

Bartomeu promises more signings | Football Espana
Josep Maria Bartomeu has promised more signings if he is re-elected Barcelona President next month. Despite a FIFA-imposed transfer ban leaving any new arrivals sidelined until January, the 52-year-old assured La Blaugrana were working on improving the squad and had not been "paralysed" by the election process.

Barcelona have sacked Jordi Vinyals from his position as B-team Coach after overseeing the team’s relegation to Segunda B. The 51-year-old replaced Eusebio Sacristan for the second half of last season but could not arrest the side’s slump as they finished bottom of La Segunda.
