One of the most outspoken, honest members of the Barcelona squad, Javier Mascherano once again appeared before the press on Tuesday's Open Media Day to comment on the UEFA Champions League Final, next Saturday against Juventus.

The Argentine midfielder, as always, was very respectful towards his opponent, and he sees the Italian as a tougher side than some might think. And for him, there are no favorites to win in Berlin, and the Blaugrana leader believes his team can come out on top because of one man: Lionel Messi.

Here's some more of his quotes:

"Juventus can also secure the treble; of course we will do our best to win the third title. We will prepare the same way as we have done all season. It is a final, a decisive game, but I don't think we have to change anything.

"Messi has the ability and talent to do things nobody else can do. Nobody is invincible, we can win and we can lose. We have the resources to win but we won't leave anything to chance. We have the opportunity to make history. However, there are many things that are not under our control.

"My role is the same as everybody else. There are different leaders in this team. From day one I have always felt important in my role, I always try to be positive and contribute to the team. We won the Copa del Rey playing well. I had the feeling of relief, satisfaction at a job well done.

"[Carlos] Tévez is one of the best players I have shared a pitch with; he has an unbelievable hunger to win. He has made his mark at every club he's been at. If I come up against him, I'll have to be very careful. He is one of Juventus's most important players."
