It's official: Barcelona will play its first game at Camp Nou in the 2015/16 season in a big way, facing Italian powerhouse AS Roma in the 50th edition of the Joan Gamper Trophy, on August 5th at 22:00 CET.
The game brings back memories to Barça fans, since Seydou Keita, a Blaugrana fan favorite, is returning to the stadium where he had so much success as a very important part of the historical Pep Guardiola squad. Also, current Treble-winning coach Luis Enrique will face his former team. While the Asturian did not have success in his only season in Rome, he will meet some old friends and will have the opportunity to kick off his new Camp Nou campaign in a big way.
The team has come back to training, and while names like Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr. still haven't returned from their vacations, most of the players are already in the club's facilities, getting ready for the tour around the United States for games against the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United.
But on the first week of August, they have a date with Francesco Totti. Who wouldn't want that?
