Luis Enrique on Chelsea draw: "We go back home happy"

Barcelona coach Luis Enrique is definitely aware of the concept of #Preseason.

The club tour around the United States ended with only one win after three games, but the results don't really matter to Lucho. What's important to him at this point is how his team is evolving and the level of performances, and with that he's happy. Especially with what he witnessed against Chelsea, which was easily the best game the Blaugrana played in the tour.

Talking specifically about the match against the Blues, Enrique was very complimentary of his team and their performance, and the ability to come back from a deficit in the second half while dominating the opposition and patiently searching for the goals.

Here's a few quotes from Lucho's conference:

"Against Chelsea we showed we could come back after going behind and I liked the team."

Verdict on the tour:

"We have been able to get playing time against top quality opposition, we have had the chance to feel the support of lots of fans, who have been the majority in the grounds and we have been able to promote the Club. We go back home happy."

The game against Chelsea:

"It has been a more physically demanding game than usual after 10 days on tour. I like the team. We overcame an early goal against and even there were a little slack in some areas of the game, we turned it around."

"The only bad news is the injury to Douglas. Any kind of injury is always sad news."

Sergi Roberto’s position:

"Physically he is very strong, he is fit as you like, gets up and down and has quality. It’s another option. You have to remember that a full back at Barça is almost like a midfielder."

Goals from set pieces:

"Before this game we had only conceded three corners and conceded two goals. Last season we improved a lot in that aspect of the game, but this one it will a sore point."

"We are not a tall team. Even so, I prefer to have the kind of players who control the game than tall players for the ball in the air but don’t control the game."
