La Liga News: 10 August 2015; Real Madrid Draw in Oslo, Hector Moreno PSV Deal Falls Through

Real Madrid was forced to settle for a goalless stalemate against Valerenga as Rafael Benitez's star-studded side drew a blank in Oslo. Even without the injured Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo, Benitez was still able to showcase his embarrassment of attacking riches in Sunday's preseason friendly, but the likes of Gareth Bale and Luka Modric failed to find a way past resolute Valerenga, currently second in Norway's Eliteserien.

Spanish broadcaster TVE has picked up additional rights to air domestic club games from La Liga and the Copa del Rey on a free-to-air basis. The public network will televise one league game per week plus one game from the Copa del Rey knockout competition per week as part of the new deal.

Real Madrid have reportedly sent an ultimatum to Manchester United - accept their offer for David De Gea or lose him for nothing next year. Sport cites a claim by ABC which says Los Blancos have offered €25m and €5m in bonuses for the Spain international and won’t go any higher, certainly not the €35m United were said to want.

Martin Odegaard has admitted he does not know if he will remain at Real Madrid this season or be loaned out to another club. A temporary move away from the Santiago Bernabeu outfit has been touted as a possibility for the 16-year-old in order to gain some first-team experience.

Sport cites reports from the Netherlands, specifically De Telegraaf, that quote PSV sporting director Marcel Brands as confirming there’s no agreement for Moreno with Los Periquitos.
