You can add one more candidate to Barcelona's list of Pedro replacements.
After making bids for Nolito and Yarmolenko and not getting promising results as of right now, it looks as though the Blaugrana have turned their attention to AS Monaco and French prospect Anthony Martial. The 19-year-old wonderkid has been rumored with a move to the Premier League to join Chelsea, but the Blues signed Pedro instead and closed talks.
According to Catalan radio Cadena SER, Barça sounded out the Ligue 1 side to get information on the player, as well as the asking price. Monaco reportedly asked for a €20 million fee, which looked fine to the Catalan club officials, sources say.
Martial was born in Lyon, and joined Monaco in 2013. Last season he scored 11 goals in 42 appearances, which included a quarterfinal campaign with his team in the Champions League, which does add some experience to his name, even though he's so young.
