Champions League Draw: Live Thread

Live thread for the UEFA Champions League Group Stage Draw.

After the completion of the preliminary rounds yesterday, which featured some entertaining football, UEFA will waste no time and will conduct the draw for the Champions League Group Stage draw today, 27 August 2015, at 5:45 pm CET in Monaco, whose team crashed out on the last step to Valencia, which gave Spain an unprecedented five teams in the Champions League.

Rules of the draw dictate that the Champions of the top eight leagues in Europe - Spain, England, Germany, Italy, France, Russia, Portugal and Netherlands - will be placed in Pot 1, with FC Barcelona named the No. 1 seed. The teams in the remaining three pots will be seeded according to the UEFA coefficient. The rules also state that each of the eight groups will consist of one team from each of the four pots and that teams from the same association can't be drawn together. The draw will also count for the UEFA Youth League
