Despite speculations of a move away from Camp Nou, Javier Mascherano is definitely not willing to leave Barcelona.

The Argentine defender made his season debut with the Blaugrana in the Joan Gamper Trophy, with another flawless performance, which have become the common thing for El Jefecito since last season. His status as one of the world's best surely interests many teams, and Serie A winners Juventus made a reported €14 million offer to land the 30-year-old, which was immediately rejected by the Catalan giants.

And it's not only the club that doesn't want to sell; Mascherano is not thinking of going. Speaking to the media following the Gamper win against AS Roma, he made it clear that despite the interest from the Bianconneri, he's more than happy to give his all to his club.

"I know that there has been another team interested, but my commitment to Barça is immovable. It always is and will be this way until the final day that I'm here."

That is just a beautiful quote, from a guy who truly loves to play for Barça's colors. Masche's agent, Walter Tamer, also denied any rumors of a possible move, and reassured the fans that his client will stay.

"Everything depends on what intentions a club has with Javier. But currently he is very comfortable at Barcelona."
