The injury bug is seriously hitting Barcelona, but now it's doing it in crazy ways.

Barça's website announced that forward Neymar Jr. will be out for two weeks due to a problem. One would assume something usual, like hamstring or ankle. NOPE.

Neymar has freaking mumps:

The first team medical staff at FC Barcelona has announced on Sunday that Neymar will be out for two weeks after being diagnosed with parotitis (mumps), despite the fact that he had previously been vaccinated against the disease.

Therefore, the Brazilian striker will miss the European Super Cup final on Tuesday in Tbilisi, Georgia against Sevilla and also the Spanish Super Cup final which sees Luis Enrique's team take on Athletic Club over two legs on 14 and 17 August.

Okay, I get that having mumps is not the weirdest thing, but I don't recall a footballer having it. Anyway, Neymar is out of the two Super Cups, against Sevilla and Athletic Bilbao.

That's ridiculous, injury bug.
