Real Madrid star James Rodríguez injured his knee and Atletico Madrid forward Jackson Martinez suffered a bruise on his tibia in Colombia's 1-1 draw against Peru during a friendly on Tuesday in Harrison, New Jersey. Team doctor Carlos Ulloa confirmed both of the injuries, saying that Martinez's injury was a "minor bruise."

David De Gea likely to sign new Man United deal - Perez - ESPN FC
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has ruled out a deal for David De Gea in January and suggested he expects the goalkeeper to sign a new contract at Manchester United. Real were close to signing De Gea last month in a transfer that would have seen Keylor Navas move in the opposite direction, but the clubs were unable to complete the deal before the end of the transfer deadline on Aug. 31.

Sevilla defender Adil Rami has been sidelined for six weeks with a thigh injury. France international Rami, 29, had started both of the Andalusian club's opening two Primera Division games after signing from AC Milan over the summer.
