Barcelona returns to La Liga action this Saturday, when they face Atlético Madrid at Vicente Calderón in one of the toughest fixtures of the season, and one of Atleti's biggest stars is ready to fight for a win.
Antoine Griezmann, undoubtedly one of the best players in the Spanish league and the Colchoneros' biggest hope to get the first victory against the Blaugrana in 15 months, talked to Atleti's website and analyzed the clash; while he knows how difficult Barça will be to play against, the French attacker hopes his team can continue the great form of this young season and get a third straight win in La Liga.
"It's a big game for us and the fans, and we'll give everything and try to win.
"Barcelona always have possession, but we'll push up, be strong at the back and try to score.
"We had a very good pre-season. We find more rhythm and everything seems easier with every game.
"I always serve the collective in my work. We've started the season well and hopefully we can make it three wins on Saturday."
Griezmann is certainly the most dangerous player in Atleti's squad, and he warrants plenty of attention for the Blaugrana defense. And judging by his attitude, he'll not only use his talent, he's ready to go to war.
