The whole spectacle regarding Neymar Jr.'s rumored transfer to Manchester United is dying a slow, painful death, and after Barcelona's president, Neymar's agent, and the player himself denied any possibility of a departure, we have another important person having his say on the situation.
Neymar Sr., Junior's father, spoke to Spanish media recently, and he also confirmed that his son will remain a Blaugrana for a long time, and denied some reports that he would negotiate a new contract with the club because, according to him, it's too soon to rush into any talks.
"The fans can relax. Neymar’s staying at Barça. We don’t need to negotiate anything with Barça because [Neymar] still has three more years on his contract."

I just get a little weird about Neymar The Father not wanting to negotiate an extension right now, mainly because we have no idea about what goes through that man's mind. He's right, though: everybody knows Ney is not going anywhere, and they have at least two years to work out an extension.
Hey, Man Utd, looks like you better find another target to work with. Neymar is staying here. I know, it's tough. I know.
