Barcelona release squad list for La Liga game against Las Palmas

The next Barcelona match is upon us! We're just a few hours away from the Blaugrana's next clash, this time at home against relegation candidates Las Palmas. After a debacle in midweek play, the Catalan giants need a strong, convincing victory today to bounce back from a painful defeat just three days ago.

And Luis Enrique has made sure to call his best available players, resulting in this squad list.

Goalkeepers: 1. Ter Stegen, 25. Jordi Masip
Defenders: 3. Piqué, 6. Dani Alves, 14. Mascherano, 15. Bartra, 21. Adriano, 24. Mathieu
Midfielders: 4. Rakitic, 5. Busquets, 8. Iniesta, 20. Sergi Roberto, 28. Gumbau
Forwards: 9. Suárez, 10. Messi, 11. Neymar, 17. Munir, 19. Sandro

The biggest news is that left-back Jordi Alba is still out. He is fully recovered from the neck soreness that kept him out of the loss at Celta Vigo, but it appears that Enrique is planning on using his best full-back in the next two games against Bayer Leverkusen and Sevilla, and he takes advantage of an easier opponent today to rest Alba for the two key matchups of next week.

The good news is the return of Sandro Ramírez, who had a good game in his last outing against Levante, but missed the match at the Balaídos with a leg bruise. Now he's back, and might be given an opportunity to start if Lucho decides to rotate 'MSN'.

Our projected lineup, based on that squad list:

Stegen; Alves, Piqué, Bartra, Adriano; Mascherano, Rakitic, Iniesta, Messi, Suárez, Munir

The match starts at 16:00 CET, and you can join us to follow and comment all the action.
