The bad news on Lionel Messi could be even worse than expected.
The Barcelona superstar was forced to leave Saturday's game against Las Palmas just nine minutes in after suffering a knee injury. He tried to return, but eventually left the match and was replaced by Munir El-Haddadi.
Messi was then taken to a hospital for further testing on his knees, and left 30 minutes later limping heavily:

There is no official word from the club as of right now, but unofficial reports claim that Leo will miss up to eight weeks with a torn interior ligament in his left knee. If that timetable is correct, the Argentine legend could miss the El Clásico in November against Real Madrid.
Stay tuned for more updates.
