Lionel Messi is the best player in the world, and there's (almost) no debate on the issue. He has outplayed the competition since his footballing debut, and five FIFA Ballon d'Or awards in the last seven years are clear indication of that fact.

Barcelona fans and simple admirers of the sport feel lucky to be alive when Lionel Messi is at his best. His prime looks infinite, but we know it is not and we have to enjoy while we can. The lucky fans at Camp Nou on Sunday will witness a great moment in the stadium's history: the club's biggest star will present his Ballon d'Or to the fans prior to the league match against Athletic Bilbao.

But after the party, it's time to do business: the Blaugranes face a huge challenge in order to stay in league title contention. As they have proven already in the Spanish Super Cup, Bilbao can shock the world and beat Barça with their fierce defending and smart attacking. With the 'MSN' trio back on the pitch again, the Catalan giants should have all the tools to stop Bilbao's surprise. But we never know in football. This is must-watch. It always is when the Golden Boy is playing.
