Strong first half sees Real Sociedad beat Real Betis - ESPN FC
Real Sociedad recorded only their second win in nine games to climb above Real Betis in the Primera Division table. Firm first-half headers from Xabi Prieto and Inigo Martinez put Sociedad in control and they ran out 2-1 winners, with Betis' solitary response coming from their top scorer Ruben Castro.

Inter wait for Banega | Football Italia
Inter have reportedly agreed a €3m per year contract with Sevilla’s Ever Banega, but he won’t arrive until summer. The Argentinian midfielder will be a free agent in the summer, and it was reported this week that the Nerazzurri had agreed a contract.

Roque Santa Cruz on mark as Malaga claim Eibar scalp - ESPN FC
Malaga moved into the top half of the Primera Division after picking up a hard-fought 2-1 victory at in-form Eibar. Juanpi broke the deadlock on the stroke of half-time to give the visitors the edge in an end-to-end encounter and Roque Santa Cruz sealed the points by striking at the end of the second half.
