Luis Enrique, Leo Messi, Barcelona players react to La Liga win against Deportivo

So many happy Blaugranes on social media!

Barcelona completely dominated Deportivo La Coruña and returned to the winning ways in La Liga with a fantastic 4-0 victory on Saturday at Camp Nou. The Blaugrana were very impressive for 90 minutes, and deservedly picked up a victory that doesn't do much in terms of the table, but boosts the team's confidence ahead of the massive Champions League match against Manchester City next Wednesday.

After the match, plenty of happy Barça players took to social media to share their joy with their followers, including Lionel Messi, who celebrated his return from injury on Facebook:

Doblemente feliz, ¡por el triunfo del equipo y por volver a jugar! ⚽ Happy on two counts, with the win for the team and to be back playing! ⚽ - LIO

Here's some more reactions from Barça players around social media:

"Great team, three more points to keep growing! There are images that make you cry... Thank you, fans!"

"Good win, three more points... Already thinking about the Champions League match".

"Good win, team!! Rafinha hadn't scored two goals since he was 14 years old... Congratulations!! Força Barça!!!"

Manager Luis Enrique also spoke to the media after the game, and he was happy about everything: the win, the performance, Leo Messi's return, Rafinha's two goals, all of it!

“We knew what the game required. And the players came out and did what they needed to do. [Deportivo] didn’t create any scoring chances and we did. hat’s what we wanted to do and we did it. We wanted to get out with three players and use that to open up the field out on the wings."

“We wanted to avoid making the same mistakes we’ve made in previous seasons [against Deportivo], and we put the game away early in the second half with our fourth goal."

“Having players come off the bench and perform at a high level is one of the keys to the season."

“We got Messi back and everyone saw it took him very little time to get back to his best level."

I have no doubts about Paco Alcácer. He’s had some very clear chances but has been unlucky. I remember some other players like Luis Suárez who also had a tough time getting that first goal, and you only need to see the numbers.”

“It’s great that Rafinha and others can play and perform at more than one position. Those variables are great for the players and the team.”
